The hull ID number is an important and interesting fact to all Islander 28 Owners. This number provides us with beneficial details concerning the history of our boats. However, like many historcial specifics relating to Islander Yacht Company, much of the information is unclear or not presently available. Right now it is not know exactly how many Islander 28 sailboats were built in any one year or the total production run. If we all work together, maybe we can generate those figures.
